Terms of Use
Effective August 5, 2026
1. Agreement and service purpose
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and the operator of Campaign Command. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. Campaign Command is a campaign-management dashboard that lets signed-in users save selected character information, organize campaigns, upload authorized artwork, and create read-only shared displays.
You are responsible for your account activity and for complying with laws, contracts, and third-party terms that apply to your use.
2. D&D Beyond character links
You may submit a public D&D Beyond character link. Campaign Command does not request or store your D&D Beyond password. A signed-in Campaign Command user initiates each character-service read. Shared-display visitors cannot initiate D&D Beyond requests and receive only Campaign Command's saved copy.
Automatic synchronization runs no more frequently than every five minutes. A signed-in user may manually refresh after one minute. Upstream reads are limited to 30 per signed-in Campaign Command user and 300 service-wide in each ten-minute window. D&D Beyond is a third-party service with its own terms and technical controls. Its owner may change, restrict, or discontinue public access at any time, and Campaign Command may suspend or remove the integration.
You may submit only links and data you are authorized to use. Do not use Campaign Command to evade access controls, scrape private material, or interfere with D&D Beyond or any other service.
3. Shared displays
A shared-display link is designed to be accessible to anyone who has the link. It may show campaign and character information, including character names, game statistics, conditions, spell names, and artwork you uploaded. Do not share the link with people who should not see that information. Removing a campaign invalidates its shared display.
4. Your content and artwork rights
You keep ownership of content and artwork you upload. You represent that you created each upload or have all permissions needed to upload, store, resize, and display it through Campaign Command.
You grant the Campaign Command operator a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, resize, format, transmit, and display your uploaded content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to brief technical retention in caches or backups.
Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights. The operator may remove content, restrict sharing, or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address infringement, abuse, security, or legal obligations.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, overload it, distribute malware, probe another user's share tokens, use automated requests outside provided product features, or use the service to violate another party's rights. You may not imply that Campaign Command is an official Wizards of the Coast or D&D Beyond product.
6. Privacy and deletion
The Privacy Notice explains the information Campaign Command processes and how deletion works. You can delete individual characters and campaigns. In Settings, “Delete all my data” removes all campaigns, saved characters, uploaded images, and the per-user rate-limit record associated with your Campaign Command identity. It does not delete or modify your ChatGPT or D&D Beyond account.
7. Intellectual property and unofficial-product notice
Campaign Command and its original interface elements are owned by the operator or its licensors. No rights in third-party games, services, artwork, or trademarks are transferred to you.
Campaign Command is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Wizards of the Coast or D&D Beyond. Dungeons & Dragons, D&D, D&D Beyond, Wizards of the Coast, and related marks are property of their respective owners.
8. SRD 5.2.1 attribution
This work includes material from the System Reference Document 5.2.1 (“SRD 5.2.1”) by Wizards of the Coast LLC, available at https://www.dndbeyond.com/srd. The SRD 5.2.1 is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.
9. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. Campaign Command is a convenience tool, not an authoritative character sheet, rules source, or substitute for checking original licensed materials.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or service interruptions arising from Campaign Command. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not fully apply to you.
11. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date will be revised when material changes are published. For legal, copyright, or terms questions, use the Campaign Command operator contact method provided with your access to the service.
